Dr Chanduvi is an Endocrinologist at Capital Diabetes and Endocrine Associates. She is board certified in Endocrinology and Metabolism and is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology.
Dr Chanduvi completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and received her MD degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. After completing residency in Internal Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami, she received her fellowship training in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. She has been in private practice since completion of fellowship.
She treats all endocrine disorders, and has special interest in thyroid disorders, thyroid cancer, hyperparathyroidism, polycystic ovarian syndrome, pituitary and adrenal diseases. She performs fine needle aspiration of thyroid nodules via ultrasound guidance and has years of experience in treating diabetic patients on insulin pumps.
She is a member of the Endocrine Society, American Thyroid Association, and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
Dr Chanduvi has active licenses in VA, DC and Maryland and is fluent in English and Spanish.
