Dr. Aaron Chidakel, MD
Dr. Aaron Chidakel is a board-certified endocrinologist with over 20 years of experience. He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College) in Philadelphia, completed his internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, and finished a three-year fellowship in clinical endocrinology and metabolism at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). During his NIH tenure, he published multiple research papers and received an award for his work on thyroid disease.
He practiced in private practice in Maryland before spending ten years as a clinical endocrinologist and assistant clinical professor at NYU Langone in New York City. He now returns to Maryland. As a general endocrinologist, his clinical interests include diabetes, thyroid disorders, weight management, and male hypogonadism.
